A group of flyers whose roots were in the Chesterfield Radio Model Aircraft Club have been using this field since 1996.
The field is maintained on a completely voluntary basis by the Club Members.
The access track may not be suitable for some very low vehicles and in the winter months the field can get very wet due to poor soil drainage.
We fly silent and noise controlled electric and i.c. models in beautiful surroundings with uninterrupted flying.
Very limited instruction resource available therefore new Membership inquiries should preferably be from flyers who can already fly to the standard required by the BMFA ‘A’ Proficiency test.
Membership is limited to a maximum of 30 but we will currently consider membership inquiries from experienced flyers.
